It’s so refreshing to learn that I’m not the only one who can’t stand working in groups. I never know how bands do it… but I guess it IS possible to find others that you “click” with and are willing to work with.

He sounds like a really cool guy. I wish I could catch him at one of these upcoming shows but I don’t think they’ll be back to Texas for a while. And awww. I’m reminded of Jonny in with that third picture.

It’s the red eyeshadow.

Great interview, I really enjoyed learning more about Maddox. And wow, do I ever agree with this:

“There is a way to take the things that influenced you as a younger person, and push it into new directions. Think outside the box, but reference what shaped you to become the person you are today.”

First of all, he gets Life + 100 for mentioning Wayne Coyne.

Second, great great interview as always, Julie. You missed your calling; you should be writing for AP or RS, you know, if they were actually relevant anymore.

Third, just really great to get to know the guy behind the smile and the fantastic work. Awesome stuff.
